"Let's Just Socialise" is the group's recurring event to give everyone a fixed point in time to meet other members of the group.

This evening is just meant to be a gathering of the wonderful Westenders chilling out at the end of another week at work and getting to know each other a little better.

Come along! Meet new people! Bring some friends! have fun!

 

The Goldhawk is a spacious pub that's generally not over-crowded or noisy. Chisel has used the location a few times for other social meetings and doesn't remember ever having to fight for a table or yell over loud music.

 

Nearest tube stations Goldhawk Road (0.2 miles), Ravenscourt Park (0.6 miles), Shepherd's Bush (0.6 miles)

Nearest train stations Kensington Olympia (1 mile), Acton Central (1.6 miles), South Acton (1.8 miles)

    I won't be able to make this on the 15th. I need to travel to Wolverhampton for some eye surgery on the 14th, travelling back some time Friday and unlikely to be in a fit state to host a social on the 15th.

    I'm happy to leave it on the 15th if you can all cope without me, or I could move it back (another) week to the 22nd.

    Thoughts?

    Oh, June is a bad month for me and Fridays. I've got a concert on Friday 22nd, so there's no point in me moving it.
    I'll leave it on the 15th and try to turn up to at least kick it off. I should be able to reserve some table space for everyone.
    Apologies in advance if (1) I don't make it at all (2) I make it, but I'm a bit of a useless host.
