I don't know about you, but I've always wanted to try lobster. This venue was recently recommended by a friend and by all accounts the food is delicious and very good value for money.
"These days, a whole lobster at a seafood restaurant (J Sheekey, say) can cost upwards of £30-£40 - at Burger & Lobster, you can be assured of an entire beast, perfectly cooked, at a price that will please even if you're feeling the pinch."

"It isn't hard to decide what to eat at Burger & Lobster, as there are only three choices - burger, lobster or lobster roll. Which focuses your mind on the other variables, such as where abouts in the room you would like to perch. Propped up against the bar on high stools? Ensconced in one of the two tight-fit banquettes in the back, with their view of the kitchen pass? Decisions, decisions."

Square Meal Review
"This does-what-it-says-on-the-tin newcomer is one of the hot tickets of 2012. A chalkboard menu offers just three options – burger, lobster and lobster roll, all served with chips and salad, all for £20. So go in a gang of three, order one of each and share the spoils. Burger & Lobster is owned by the Goodman chain, so it goes without saying the burger is made from high-end stuff. And with cheese and bacon at no extra cost, be sure to order all the trimmings. The lobster – steamed or char-grilled – is even better, but best of all is the lobster roll, served in a buttery toasted brioche with a lick of wasabi mayo. The place is tricked out in wood panelling and red leather, with the nicest seats the banquettes at the back. The only downside is the no-reservations policy; two-hour waits for tables are not uncommon." [original review]
The restaurant doesn't offer reservations so there will be a tiny risk on the night. This risk makes it doubly important that everyone arrives no later than 8pm. Ideally those attending this event will be at the venue no later than 7:50pm.

Hi ya. What's the approx cost for the meal? I'm a little skint this month, but love seafood!
I've updated the event description, but there's a review that says, "A chalkboard menu offers just three options ? burger, lobster and lobster roll, all served with chips and salad, all for £20."
We've got a reservation of sorts and have decamped to Ye Grapes two minutes away in Shepherd Market. Ring me when you arrive!
Another friend has eaten here and described the restaurant as "freaking amazing". They've confirmed that it is busy and I'd suggest we consider meeting earlier than 8pm. Maybe 7pm for an 'as soon as we get seated' start time.
